The Valley Walk in the Building

溪谷步道是一个景观改造项目，位于离Megabangna的主广场不远的地方。项目通过打造一个连续流动的亲水空间，让人们流连其间休息玩耍。

‘Stream Valley Walk’ is a landscape renovation project. It is located further from the main plaza of Megabangna. The goal for the project is to create a stream of water that flows continuously and allows people to rest and play.

整体景观设计采用与购物中心的公园相同策略，营造蜿蜒的地形植栽池，并与现场保留的树池相搭配。

These planters become fields of islands that define spaces in between.The overall landscape design uses the same strategy as the park in the shopping mall, creating a meandering topographic planting pool that matches the tree pool retained on site.

保留的树木和垂直的水幕强化了空间的竖向观感；蜿蜒的水渠、曲形种植池和汀步则丰富了平面构图；水景、悬挂座椅成为空间中重要的互动元素，共同营造出全新的互动体验式商业景观。

The preserved trees and vertical water curtain reinforce the vertical view of the space; the winding water channel, curved planting pond and Ting Steps enrich the planar composition; the water feature and suspended seats become important interactive elements in the space, together creating a new interactive and experiential commercial landscape.

Continuous Flow of Hydrophilic Space

该项目的目标是创造一个连续流动的水流，为了缩短流动距离，水将被分成三部分，它们的分界线位于激流槽的。

The goal for the project is to create a stream of water that flows continuously. The stream will be divided in 3 parts in order to shorten the flowing distance. Their divisions are where the surge tanks are located.

Each water inlet on both sides is raised to create a gravity flow that would allow the water to move more naturally through the stream. 

These raised platforms offer many possibilities for the creation of water, where a variety of splashing activities can take place.

In contrast with an active water stream, the central water feature is designed with one directional flow with much slower flow compared to the others. 

This area becomes a living space with hanging seats where people could sit and relax on the water.

Stream Valley Walk is located in a narrow shady but more cozy area. The water feature is introduced as a main design feature.

It not only enhances the cozy and relaxing atmosphere, but also creates a continuous flow of space throughout the entire walk.

Plants and Landscape Mounds

在溪谷步道中，另一个重要元素是树木和地形。

银橡树提供了一个遮阴场所。它们减少建筑体量的规模，使景观更符合人的尺度。

On Stream Valley Walk,Another important element in the valley trail is the trees and the terrain.

Silver Oak trees provide a light shade. They help to diminish the large scale of building massing and make the landscape more human scale.

景观小丘的高度是为了创造舒适感而设计的，同时也让空气流向它们，因此设计时它们不能太高或太低。

The height of landscape mounds have been designed for creating coziness and yet let air to flow to them. They must not be too high or too low.

在土墩的顶部，各种地被植物的混合体被洒满。

为了加强景观的形式，地被植物经过了精心挑选，它代表绿岛和沙丘领域的基本形式，使得景观土丘变得更加可读。

On top of the mounds, a mix of various groundcovers are sprinkled all over.

The groundcovers have been carefully selected in order to strengthen the form of landscape. Landscape mounds become more readable as groundcovers reveal the essential forms of the green islands and the field of dunes.

这些地被植物的设计增强了丘陵的地形轮廓，保留了更多的水分，并为坐在它们附近的人创造了丰富的花叶感受。

These groundcovers design enhances topographic profile of the mounds, preserves more moistures, and creates the freshness feel from different colors of flower and different textures of leaf forms for people who are sitting close to them.

The landscape on the ground looks more unified with strong form and yet contains different details within them.

曼谷市郊新开发的区域让一些老旧商业区逐渐落寞而变得冷清，而设计师通过在狭长的空间中打造了一条流动的溪流，让原本平坦的区域变得灵动而具有吸引力。

In order to revitalize the newly developed areas on the outskirts of Bangkok, where some old commercial areas are falling into desolation and becoming cold, the designer has created a flowing stream in the narrow space, making the originally flat area dynamic and attractive.
