Talaga Sampireun, a well-known Indonesian restaurant chain synonymous with lakeside dining experience (talaga) and community gatherings (sampireun), lives up to its name across locations. However, their newest Bali outpost by K-Thengono Design Studio takes this concept further. 

故事从一条蜿蜒的河流开始，它的流动被重新诠释为一条连续的、曲线优美的脊柱，周围环绕着一个湖泊。这条“河流”形成了中心轴线，宽敞的用餐区位于其曲线上。露天桑拿房坐落在河流沿岸，屋顶模仿树叶的形状，与传统的河畔定居点相呼应。

Stepping into this green area from the bustling street entrance, people will feel the harmonious interaction between the "people-water-green" elements. They are intertwined and together create a peaceful and vibrant environment. Particularly worth mentioning is the infinity swimming pool that spans the front facade. It is not only a design highlight, but also a functional masterpiece. As a regulating element, it cleverly reduces heat radiation from the noisy streets to the quiet buildings, bringing a pleasant temperature to the interior spaces.

沉浸式体验的第一步就是入口空间，高耸的屋顶迎接客人，第二步随着客人通往餐饮区的通道前进，屋顶高度逐渐降低。这种建筑手法营造出一种亲密感，增大游客与建筑空间的互动性——与周围广阔的水景形成鲜明对比。上访的天窗穿透过高高的屋顶，让空间沐浴在自然光的照耀下，增添了另一种层次的视觉魅力。

The immersive experience begins with the entrance space, where a soaring roof greets guests, and then gradually decreases in height as guests proceed through the passage to the dining area. This architectural approach creates a sense of intimacy and increases visitor interaction with the architectural space – in stark contrast to the surrounding waterscape. The skylights above reflect the ultra-high roof, bathing the space in natural light, adding another level of visual charm.

与其他远离水边的Talaga Sampireun 分店不同，这个巴厘岛最新餐厅的设计类型是可以直接与水源进行亲密接触。有小孩的家庭可以尽情喂养湖中的鱼，而所有客人都可以陶醉在水生景观的宁静之中。外部的挡墙墙壁不存在，营造出清新的开放空间感，同时最大限度地利用自然通风。

Unlike other Talaga Sampireun branches that are far away from the water, this newest restaurant in Bali is designed to have direct and intimate contact with the water. Families with young children can feed the lakes fish to their hearts content, while all guests can revel in the serenity of the aquatic landscape. External retaining walls are non-existent, creating a fresh sense of open space while maximizing natural ventilation.

Rattan decoration complements craft heritage

This project not only brings visual appeal to visitors, but also mobilizes their senses of hearing, smell, touch and taste. The chirping of birds complements the serene lake view, while the aroma and taste of the famous Talaga Sampireun delicacies are mouth-watering. Local materials such as teak, brass and red brick create a symphony of textures with the flowing lines of the modern steel structure. Decorative elements on the ceiling, crafted from rattan by local artisans, add a touch of human touch and celebrate the regions rich craft tradition.
